OBAFEMI AWOLOWO UNIVERSITY, ILE-IFE, NIGERIA DEPARTMENT OF NURSING SCIENCE IN COLLABORATION WITH CENTRE FOR DISTANCE LEARNING ANNOUNCES ADMISSION INTO PART-TIME BACHELOR OF NURSING SCIENCE (B.NSC) DEGREE PROGRAMME 2009/2010 ACADEMIC SESSION
Applications are invited from suitably qualified Candidates for admission into the part-time Bachelor of Nursing Science Degree Programme co-ordinated by the Centre for Distance Learning, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
(I) Applicants must be Nurses registered by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (RN/RPN/RM/RPHN etc)
(II) Applicants must possess West African School Certificate/GCE (or Equivalents) with Credits in five (5) subjects obtained at not more than two sittings. The subjects must include English Language. Mathematics, Physics, Biology and Chemistry.
(III) Candidates shall be invited for written entrance examination and interview.
DURATION
The Programme is for five Academic Sessions of weekends and holiday period lectures i.e. one hundred and thirty five (135) weeks.

(1) Go to any of the bank on the Etranzact Network and make a payment of Ten thousand Naira Only (N10,000). (Please note that bank charges apply and are to be paid. Please DO NOT request for a scratch card or a hardcopy form)

(3) Visit the website ‘www.oaudistancelearning.org’
(4) Click on “ BNSc Application ” on the home page and read instructions carefully and then Click on "APPLY NOW".
(5) Provide a username and a password that you'll always remember and supply the required information.
(6) Login with your username and password.
(7) Confirm your payments by providing the Receipt Number and the Confirmation Order Number on your E-tranzact receipt.
(8) Fill your form: Supply the required information (personal information, credentials) and upload your passport photograph.
(9) Logout when you are through.
With these steps completed, you must thereafter check the website and login for further information and notices. The on- line forms must be filled and submitted on-line either immediately or within 2 weeks of accessing the website. No downloaded or printed copies of forms will be accepted.

Applicants are advised to make payments personally and obtain the Etranzact receipts at any of the designated banks. The Centre for Distance Learning, OAU has not engaged any individual or organization to carry out this application procedure on her behalf and thus shall not be held responsible for any issue arising from the involvement of a third party.
